Accessibility at Pointify

We want Pointify Travel to be usable by everyone who wants to book a trip — including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, switch devices, or high-contrast and reduced-motion settings.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA across every public page of pointifytravels.com and its iOS app. We measure ourselves against that standard when we ship new features, and we prioritize regressions that drop us below it.

What we’ve built in

 • Keyboard navigation across all interactive surfaces, with a visible focus ring on every actionable element.
 • Semantic HTML — buttons are , links are , headings are ordered, form fields carry , and tables use proper row/column headers.
 • ARIA landmarks and live regions for the search stream, toast notifications, and modal dialogs so assistive tech announces updates.
 • Dark and light themes, both tested to pass WCAG AA contrast on every text-vs-background pair.
 • Reduced-motion support — when your system prefers reduced motion, we tone down carousels, floating animations, and auto-scrolling tickers.
 • Scalable text — the product works at iOS Dynamic Type sizes and at 200% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.
 • Non-colour affordances — we never use colour alone to convey state. Deal badges include text labels, error fields include descriptive text, and loading states include both a spinner and a role=status announcement.

Known gaps we’re working on

 • Some scraped third-party images (airline and hotel brand marks) lack descriptive alt text beyond the brand name. We’re auditing and upgrading these progressively.
 • The interactive seat-map on booking is visual-first; a keyboard-accessible alternative is on the roadmap.
 • We have not yet formally tested with JAWS; our internal testing covers VoiceOver, NVDA, and TalkBack.

Assistive technology we test against

 • VoiceOver on iOS + macOS
 • NVDA on Windows (Firefox + Chrome)
 • TalkBack on Android
 • Keyboard-only navigation on all major browsers
