Pointify

Flight Deals · Beta

Flight discovery for points + cash.

Tell us what you want like you'd tell a friend — vibe, vague dates, budget, must-haves. Pointify translates that into a real cross-airline search across cash AND points, then shows you the best matches side-by-side.

Try one of these

  • 300+

    Airlines covered

Cash inventory via Duffel + scraper aggregator. Every IATA-coded carrier we can resolve.

  • 47

    Loyalty programs

Award availability via seats.aero + native scrapers across the big alliances + JetBlue, Southwest, Alaska, AA, etc.

  • 25+

    Transfer partners

AmEx MR, Chase UR, Capital One, Citi TYP, Bilt, Marriott, IHG — every transfer ratio refreshed nightly.

  • Parallel

    Cross-source query

Every parsed destination fans out to all three sources at once via asyncio.gather. No serial waits.

How it works

Three steps. Real data. No magic.

It's a thin layer over the same multi-source search that powers /search. Everything you see is a real live query — we don't cache stale prices or fake availability.

You describe the trip

Free-text input — vibe, vague dates, budget, must-haves. Same way you'd ask a friend who books award travel.

"week-long warm beach in February, leaving from BOS, under $700"

Multi-source query

We read your request, then search 4-8 destinations at the same time across cash fares, award seats, and our own flight scanner — all at once, not one after another.

8 destinations × 3 sources = 24 live queries · ~1.8s p50

Ranked side-by-side

Every match shows cash next to points + the cents-per-point judgment. The optimizer flags when a cash booking beats burning miles.

"$1,200 on Delta or 47k Virgin Atlantic miles · 2.6¢/pt"

Comparison

The only flight tool that searches points.

Google launched cash-only AI flight discovery in August 2025. Hopper and Kayak followed. None of them query airline award availability, so points travelers never see the redemption path. Pointify pipes the same parsed query through both pipelines and shows the answer side-by-side.

Comparison reflects publicly available product behaviour as of 2026-05-05. Google's AI flight tool launched August 2025 inside Google Flights; Hopper's natural-language search is part of their iOS/Android app; Kayak Discover lives at kayak.com/discover. Roadmap items at any of these vendors may add award support — we'll update this table when they do.

Frequently asked

Things travelers ask first.

How is this different from regular flight search?

Regular search needs you to know the origin, destination, and exact dates. Flight Deals lets you describe the trip the way you'd describe it to a friend ("week-long warm beach trip in February for under $700") and we figure out which 4-8 destinations fit, fan out searches in parallel, and rank the results.

Does Pointify use Duffel, seats.aero, or its own data?

All three. We translate your request into structured queries; the search itself runs against the same multi-source aggregator that powers /search — Duffel cash inventory, seats.aero award availability, and our own Google-Flights-style scraper for cross-checking.

Can I refine the results?

Yes. After we propose destinations, you can drop one, swap dates, lock to a specific airline alliance, or shift to points-only. The page round-trips back through /search so every refinement is a real live query.

Why does this matter for points travelers?

Cash-only AI deal tools (Google's Aug 2025 launch, Hopper, Kayak Discover) ignore award availability. Pointify pipes the parsed query through both cash AND points pipelines so you see "this trip is $1,200 on Delta or 47k Virgin Atlantic miles" side-by-side.

How accurate is the destination fan-out for vague queries?

For "warm beach in February" we typically propose 6-10 candidates (Cancún, San Juan, Tulum, Aruba, Punta Cana, Turks, etc.) ranked by 30-day median price. You can prune or expand the set before searches actually fire — we don't burn API calls until you confirm.

What happens if the parser misreads my query?

Every parsed field renders as an editable chip — origin, destination, date window, cabin, filters. If "next month" got resolved to the wrong window, click and edit. If the parser is fully down, you fall back to the raw query with a "search anyway" link straight to /search.
