PSA: CITI customer service claims that JAL transfers take 5 days - plan for transfer bonus purposes accordingly

I tried to transfer points several hours ago. The transaction has not consummated and the transactions shows as "in progress" on the Citi website. I waited until Thank You customer service opened and the CSR told me that transfers can take several days. I escalated to a supervisor, who first advised me that transfers take longer over the weekend and later claimed that all transfers to JAL require 5 business days.
