Lock a fare. Book when you're ready.

Found a flight you like but need another week to confirm the trip? Price Freeze pauses the fare for 7–14 days for a small flat fee. Book any time before the freeze expires at the exact price you saw.

1. How it works

1. Search on Pointify as usual. On any cash fare, tap Freeze price instead of Book.
2. Pay a non-refundable freeze fee (typically $10–$45 depending on route + duration). You get a freeze ID and a countdown.
3. Book anytime before the countdown hits zero. The airline honours the frozen fare — no matter what the live price has done since.
4. Book ⇒ the freeze fee is rolled into the ticket price at no additional cost. Don't book ⇒ the fee is kept; the freeze lapses.

2. When it's worth it

• Coordinating with a group whose dates aren't confirmed — cheaper than booking refundable tickets for everyone upfront.
• Fares you expect to rise (holiday weekends, big events) but can't commit to booking yet.
• Waiting for payday, an employer approval, or a calendar confirm.

3. Fine print

• Freeze fees are non-refundable. Decide before you pay.
• Fares are honoured even if the underlying airline fare is sold out — Pointify buys the ticket at the frozen price when you complete the booking.
• Price Freeze is available on eligible cash fares only. Award bookings and multi-city itineraries are not yet supported.
