I’m looking at some SFO/SJC-DFW direct on AA for 12.5k AS miles but I’ve heard I can call AY (Finnair) to check for these seats with a phone agent. Anyone know how AY prices these? Is it lower? Hi everyone, first time using JAL miles, so I’m trying to understand how the award pricing works. I was checking an JFK–Japan itinerary and found what appears to be the lowest award option at 27,000 miles + about $400 one way. For the return, it’s another 27,000 miles + about $500 .
