Short version: The waitlist is gone. Pointify Travel is open to everyone. Create a free account and you'll be searching flights, hotels, cars, and award redemptions across 27 airlines and 25 loyalty programs in under a minute.
Why we had a waitlist in the first place
When we launched in March, we capped signups so we could:
- Watch the scraper backend's per-search cost and proxy budget
- Make sure the points-search engine returned real award seats (we won't ship a search that lies about availability)
- Burn down a punch list of UX bugs without dragging users through them
That checklist is done. The search engine is stable, the proxy budget is predictable, and our cost-per-search is low enough that we don't need a gating mechanism to keep usage sensible.
What's free today
- Unlimited cash searches — flights, hotels, cars, cruises, multi-city. No daily cap. No tier gate.
- 3 points searches every 5 days on the free plan — that covers most casual planning. Award queries hit our paid-per-call partners (Seats.aero, self-hosted scrapers behind proxies), which is why they stay metered.
- Mistake-fare alerts — email, push, or SMS. Captures fares 50%+ below the historical median.
- Calendar fare grids, price prediction, hidden-city and self-connect awareness
- The 9-account loyalty wallet — link your Chase, Amex, Citi, Capital One, Bilt, Marriott, Hilton, Delta, and United accounts and see your unified points balance
What Pro unlocks
Pro is $12.99/month with a 30-day free trial. You get 100 points searches a day, fare-prediction guidance on every result, our AI booking agent (it'll actually call the airline if a self-serve redemption isn't available), and full hidden-city / self-connect optimization.
What else we shipped alongside this
- Live investor + admin dashboards — daily reporting on signups, paid customers, page views (via Cloudflare zone analytics), and amortized daily burn across compute, storage, and hardware rental. Auto-refreshes every 30 seconds.
- Booking lookup on the signup page — guest-checkout users who booked anonymously can find their itinerary right from /register without creating an account.
- Round-trip deep links work correctly — saved searches and marketing emails with a return date now actually run a round-trip search instead of silently downgrading to one-way.
- Backend reliability — we eliminated the file-descriptor exhaustion pattern that bit us on May 24. All 70 hot-path HTTP clients in the booking + search engine now share a pooled connection.
What if you were already on the waitlist?
Old waitlist links redirect to direct signup. If you'd shared your email with us via /waitlist, /beta, or a pricing-page form, nothing happens to that historical record — but going forward you sign up like everyone else: create an account with the email + password of your choice and you're in.
What we're working on next
- Native iOS app — TestFlight is in Apple's review queue; App Store approval expected before end of June
- Price Freeze — lock a fare for 7-14 days while you finalize plans, slated for our Q3 release
- Group travel — already shipped in May (see the changelog); we're polishing the shared photo album + voting flow
- More award scrapers — we just added Turkish Miles&Smiles, ANA Mileage Club, and Saudia Alfursan; another 12 partner programs land before Q3
